VISIT EMEAPP

Thank you for your interest in visiting EMEAPP!

As part of a scheduled tour, you will get to see some of the rarest pieces of synth and guitar history in the world, including a Con Brio, a Kinetic Sound Prism, a Yamaha GX1, and many rare prototypes and other pieces from companies like Moog, EMS, Oberheim, PPG, Sequential Circuits, Yamaha, etc. In addition, we have an extensive collection of guitar amplifiers and effects units as well as drum machines. You will see (and hear!) Keith Emerson’s famous Moog modular as well as several of his other organs and keyboards. We have equipment that belonged to Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Tony Banks, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, The Who and many other iconic musicians. EMEAPP is a special place and it is difficult to describe the scope of the collection in words which is why we look forward to showing it to you in person.

We are currently in the process of converting from a private collection to a bona fide museum and are planning to open to the public as the Museum of Music Technology in Fall 2025. Once that happens, you will be able to schedule and pay for tours online. However, between now and then, we are asking for a minimum donation of $100 for between 1-4 people and then an additional $25 for every person over that. This is to cover the cost of our time because the tours are led by a minimum of two tour guides and are approximately 3 hours long. The donation is tax-deductible and can be paid in cash when you get here. You can also pay via Paypal, either in advance at https://emeapp.org/paypal-donation/ (please bring in the receipt as proof of payment) or when you get here. If you want to tour with less than four people and your timing is flexible, we may be able to combine you with another group so you are not responsible for the entire $100 minimum fee — please mention that when you contact us.

We typically schedule tours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays but we can accommodate other days if necessary. Tours can start any time between 11 am and 2 pm. We are located in Montgomery County, PA near the Lansdale exit of the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike.

Please be aware that as part of the museum conversion, we are currently setting up and rearranging exhibits so some rooms may be unfinished or under construction, but you will still get to experience the whole collection.

To start the process of scheduling a tour, feel free to use our Contact Page or email us at info@emeapp.org. Please tell us the number of guests you would like to bring (including yourself), list some dates and times that could work for you, and acknowledge that you understand the donation requirements.

NOTE: If you are an educator looking to bring a group of students, please contact us for school group tour options and pricing.

Thank you so much for your interest. We look forward to showing you around!
